An easy pass for tv land
|Format: Television (HD)|
I have to agree with the previous two reviewers. This show initially had a lot of promise, but ultimately left me sorely disappointed. The hostess, Kirsten Gum, was quite good at her job, but the other two were just so monotonous that I almost fell asleep watching the show.
Overall, I can kind of see what they were trying to do with the show, letting people know the values of their cars, etc.. but the format is far too mundane for network television - it would be much better in book/reference form or even online in some type of forum. Save your time, and do not watch this show.

Why do I seem to be the only person alive who thinks that saying, "...the age old question, 'What's My Car Worth?'" is incredibly stupid. Does God live? Can human beings ever be happy? What is freedom? What is the meaning of life? Those are age old questions. "What's My Car Worth?" is not an "age old question." It's only been around as long as cars, a little over 100 years. It just seems to reflect on the cluelessness of the producers and writers. They think that people who love and care about cars are idiotic enough to not be annoyed by such a thoughtless and careless insult to our intelligence. The woman who delivers that stupid line has no idea how stupid it is. People who care about the complex and sophisticated engineering of cars deserve better.

Boring Car appraisal show...skip it!
|Format: Television (HD)|
I just watched the season premier of this show on HD Discovery ...wow what a mistake. I was really hoping this show would be similar to the now famous speed television program Barrett Jackson Auctions but with more background on each car. Unfortunately I was dead wrong.
Bill Stephens and Keith Martin feature different collector cars each episode and let the owners know what they need to improve or modify their vehicle to raise their value. After all that is done, they then show past auction values of similar cars and see if their value meets the value the owner and experts predict. This has to be the most pointless part of the show since you could easily just do this online and not even need a show or a panel of experts lol.
I would say the main issue with the show is that the hosts are pretty boring and the owners are too (sorry owners). The other female host of the show just seems to randomly go around and introduce the cars and check various vendors at the auctions...kind of pointless.
If I could state one redeeming point to this terrible show it would be that the visuals are well done and you can see the cars very clearly.
To all the car fans out there, spend the 1/2 hour you would normally take watching this horrible show and go spend some time with your baby instead..yes I mean your car :).
