Where to start on this amazing and fantastic entertaining movie. I really loved this movie from beginning to end. The actors, music and sets were all inspiring and inventive.

The movie basically entails the journey of a young aspiring teenager who is overweight and obsessed with dancing and singing. You will watch as she attempts to be a part of the best dancing teenage show on TV during the 1960s known as the Corny Collins Show and you will enjoy her struggles and adventures throughout this process. I wont ruin any of the details other than it is very funny and the movie will touch on several controversial topics of the time period such as racism, but it will maintain its comedic tone throughout that process.

The cast is absolutely fantastic. The main actress Nikki Blonsky is very talented and she really makes this movie great. It just goes to show you that someones size should not determine how active you can be :). John Travolta was also very funny. Yes, he was the mother of Nikki in the show. I did not realize it at first either haha. The remaining stars were all very good and entertaining. I especially found Christopher Walken, Zac Efron and Michelle Pfeiffer very entertaining.

The music and sound effects are stunning. This movie has one of the most memorable soundtracks ever. Good Morning Baltimore etc. are all so catchy. My niece really enjoys this movie too and she actually dances to the tunes.

Overall this is a must watch for anyone - whether you are male or female, an adult or a child, this movie is for you :). Definitely recommended.
