This "sequel" for the xbox looks almost like a dreamcast game upon first glance, which is a bad thing since the xbox has superior hardware. If you have played the prior games in the series then you know what to expect. You basically have to drive a taxi cab around a city for crazy customers who expect you to get them to their destinations in crazy quick times. This is pretty fun but can lead to frustration as the game can be quite difficult at times. At one point I was so frustrated that I smashed my controller :(
Crazy Taxi 3 adds two more areas to explore: Glitter Oasis and Small Apple. Both of these new areas are fun, but are not that different from the old area of the city (also included in the game. I really wish they had improved on the graphics as it really does look like a dreamcast game :(.
The controls for the game are okay, however some moves such as the "crazy" moves are quite hard to pull off. The music in the game is also far to repetitive and annoying which seems to be the norm for Sega games at the time.
Overall this game is fun for short gaming sessions only, as the game itself is just too hard and repetitive.
