I originally played this game back on the Sega Saturn when it was known as Bust a Move. I had to play the new Xbox live version as I was wanting to play one of my favourite series online with friends and in HD.
This game has nice graphics..not amazing but good (it is a little pixelated). The sound is catchy, but I prefer Bust a MOve 2 and 4's CD quality music over this games MIDI type music.
The gameplay is the familiar to any bust a move fan: line the 3 bubbles up by pointing an arrow and when the bubbles match they pop...when enough bubbles pop you clear that level. It is very fun and addicting.
This game also utilizes the xbox 360 avatar which is a cool feature. The online mode is very fun and adds that extra replayabilty element. Taito also chose to keep the standard local 2 player mode intact, so you do not lose that old school feature as a result of live :)
Very fun game :) Recommended to all puzzle bobble fans :)
