Boom Blox Review

I decided to try this game out based on the prior reviewer and I must say he is totally correct. This game is very fun and really emphasizes the physical interaction with the user and his wii mote. I just love how you need to physically swing your arms to make the blocks fall.

The physics are top notch and you really do feel as if you are knocking the blocks over in real time. The whole Jenga feel is quite cool and anyone who has ever played with building blocks as a child will definitely love this title.

The graphics and sound are also very good, the colors are all nice and vibrant and the character style is nice and cartoony. I really like how all the characters in the game are based on animals. The designers chose to emphasize the cutesy look to the animals while also keeping them chunky and blocky to appeal to a wide range of people.

The gameplay is quite fun, just as the other user posted you basically need to aim a "ball" at a series of stacked blocks to knock them over in a limited number of turns. The game also adds some cool elements such as special blocks featuring bombs or other bonuses to destroy more than a few blocks at a time. These extra elements really spice up the gameplay and really add to the fun and replay value.

The game also features some cool story modes and multi-player options to add to the replay-ability of the game. The sound is also nice and upbeat so you do not have to worry about muting the sound while playing this game.

This is a sure fire hit and I think I am going to keep playing this title for a while. I recommend it wholeheartedly :)

This game is so much fun. You basically use the wii remote to knock over blocks...similar to Jenga. The object of the game is to aim the ball at a section of blocks to knock the "towers" over etc. The game will let you know which blocks to aim for :). Also the game features cool powerups/combos...for example if you hit a explosive block many blocks will be destroyed and you will destroy towers faster :).

This game is so much fun and the story mode is great as well. I recommend this game to all...who knew Steven Spielberg could make great games as well :)
