Recently I was browsing a gaming forum and I can across a deal on this neat little game called World of Goo by 2D Boys. Normally I would not have tried this game but it came as a package deal known as the "Humble Bundle" for charity. I am very happy I tried it as now I am addicted :)

The game is basically a 2D puzzler in which you drag and slide gobs of black goo around the screen to form a structure that will eventually connect them to a pipe to be sucked up. It is fairly simple in concept but is very neat in practice and will provide hours of challenging fun and enjoyment. The game allows you to interact with all different shapes and sizes of goo as well as creates many obstacles to deal with as you clear level after level. The game can sometimes be a bit challenging, but it never gets too crazy.

The graphics are not groundbreaking as they are just basic 2D, but they do have this nice cartoon personality about them that I enjoyed. Unfortunately, the music is almost totally absent and the sound effects are not that stellar (hence my lower review score). The one main advantage of this game is that it is a game for all ages. Children and adults will enjoy this game equally as it features no violence or adult content. It is a game for everyone!

I did enjoy this game a lot and even at full price ($20) it is a steal. I recommend any puzzler fan to check it out :)
