I really wanted to play some golf on my Ipod Touch the last week and was hunting for a great game. I perused the apps store and found this gem of a game :).
Lets Golf 2 is a game made by Gameloft that is very similar to the "Hot Shot Golf" franchise. It features fun pick up an play golf with nice cartoon style graphics and upbeat sound.
This game features many game modes and styles as well as 6 courses totalling 108 holes in all which are all very fun. The game has challenge, career and multiplayer modes as well as bluetooth support.
The details of the courses and physics are top notch and the game runs at a pretty consistent frame rate.
The controls are very good and uses the tried and true 3 click golf swing method and the game even allows you to choose your own clubs just like the home consoles :).
Overall this is an excellent game, and if I could improve one part of it then I would want some licensed golfers and courses, as that is the only feature it is missing. Great game.
