I played this game only this year after dusting off my gamecube. I heard that the Wii version of this game is not as good as the Wii version forces the user to use the wii motion controls which tend to be a bit too touchy with this game as it was one of the first games for the Wii.
Now for the review. This is one of the last games to be released on the Nintendo Gamecube and it is also one of the finest. It features the same superb gameplay Zelda fans have come to love but also features some unique twists.
The graphics, sound and music are some of the best available for the Gamecube, and probably the only game which surpasses this title is Resident Evil 4 in terms of graphics. I really love the visual style of this game and the wolf transformation is awesome.
You can expect to spend about 40 hours to complete the story of this Zelda title, and the difficulty is just right although some parts are a bit too easy. The basic story involves a new evil from the Twilight world spreading into Hyrule. Our champion Link comes forth to fight off this evil and to try to save Hyrule as usual :). This time Link has a fun sidekick named Midna who is an imp and is very funny. I really enjoyed the story but I don't want to ruin any of it so I wont go into any more detail other than to say you will love it :)
The puzzles were all fun and not too challenging, the fishing was fun and the horse riding was relaxing. The game even has some side quests that you can complete to extend the story.
Overall this game is excellent and a must buy for any Zelda fan :)
