I See Your Dream Job is meant to help you determine what you were meant to do with your life. Whether you find your current job miserable or whether you are currently out of work this book is meant to guide you on the right path. The book contains a lot of interesting information, but the real purpose of the book can be found in part 2 titled "finding your intended career path". I feel this book has been released at the perfect time given the current state of the economy.
I haven't ever been that big on astrology and numerology (which is what the author primarily uses to determine your "path" in life), but I must say I found a lot of the discussions fascinating. The reasoning somehow helps you to ignore negative thoughts and experiences and focus on the positives. I found the book very "spiritual" in this regard.
While I enjoyed the content, I didn't particularly like the way in which it was presented. Also, seeing as the logic and reasoning is based in astrology, the majority of the outcomes could technically be applied to "anybody" and not just you. The writing style was rather bland, but I guess in a book on this topic that is to be expected. Overall, even though this book didn't pinpoint exactly what I should do with my life, it did provide some much needed direction.
