This book, originally published in Ireland, starts out with a bang. It begins with the main character "Skippy" choking and then dropping dead right at the start of the novel!

I wont go into too much detail about this book but it was too depressing for me...its all about teenagers doing drugs, teenagers being depressed all the time and the teachers lives being in turmoil...all so depressing.

Overall I just did not like this book and would only recommend it for masochists who like to be depressed.
