My niece who is almost 1 year old now immensely enjoyed this book. This child resistant and aimed book features not only words which you can read to your child but also features “life like” fur or skin of various animals. In this particular book you have the “fur” of a sheep, a duck, a cow a pig and a horse. The fur is quite cool and interesting as the pig for example has a rougher texture and the sheep has a nice fluffy texture. My niece is also drawn to the colorful pictures of the animals and really likes how cute an inviting they all look. I also like reading her the funny noises that each animal makes as the book does a nice job of writing out what each animal says :)

The author “Make believe ideas” states that the age range for this book is 0+ and that it will help your child to enhance and develop their vision and hand eye coordination. I do believe that this statement as true as my niece has learned to touch the “fur” and change pages as well as identify each animal with their particular “fur”

Overall I recommend this book for all new parents or even aunts and uncles who want to help children learn in a fun way. This book is great.
